Octopus Open Meet Results
Everyone did well at the open meet today, and we won a total of 14 trophies. These were: 4 Gold 7 Silver 3 Bronze Well done to everyone who attended it was a great success, thank you! We are looking forward to attending the Littlehampton meet next Sunday.

Littlehampton Open Meet
A few children took part and were very successful. A few medals were won and lots of personal best’s were broken. Well done to everyone that attended.

Two more Jack Petchey Awards were given out last nice, well done to both swimmers who won them!
[Important] Easter Swimming Times
The following changes to swimming times are due to the Easter holiday: Tuesday 2nd/9th April – No Swimming at Morden Baths Tuesday 2nd/9th April – No Swimming at Wimbledon College Thursday 4th/11th April – No Swimming at Wimbledon College No swimming on good Friday (29th March). Swimming as usual on Wednesday’s and Friday’s.
Emilia wins the Jack Petchey Award
Emilia has won February’s Jack Petchey award and she received her certificate today: Well done Emilia! The money given to us by this award will be used to help improve the club.

Dorking Open Meet
Congratulations to everyone who attended the Dorking Open Meet. Our swimmers did very well and won several medals and broke their personal bests! Merlin (Age 9) won Gold in the 50m freestyle:
Jack Petchey – October Winner
The winner for the October Jack Petchey award has been selected and received his certificate on Friday – Congratulations! The money will be spent to help subsidise the 2012 Guildford Spectrum Trip taking place on December 8th.

This years Guildford Spectrum trip will be on December 9th. The price will be £12 with Jack Petchey is subsidising the trip. Unfortunately the boilers at Wimbledon College have broken and the pool won’t be back in operation until September. Therefore all lessons at Wimbledon College before September have been cancelled.
