Sir Jack Petchey CBE founded the Jack Petchey Foundation in 1999 to recognise the positive contributions young people make to society and assist them in achieving their potential. The programme supports clubs, societies, programmes and projects that benefit young people aged 11-25 in London and Essex. The Foundation’s major programme, the Achievement Awards, is a peer recognition scheme operating in grass roots youth clubs, youth organisations, secondary schools and uniformed organisations.

Sir Jack Petchey CBE set up the Foundation to encourage young people in London and Essex to work hard and reach their full potential. He believes each and every young person should be given the chance to achieve. As he always says; “If you think you can, you can!”

With the money that we recieve from Jack Petchey and contrubutions from Merton Pisces SC, we make the most of it with as many trips per year as we can afford. We always aim to have successful social trips where swimmers of all ages get to see other members from other session / age groups and have fun.
